Life Coaching For Young Adults
Where am I now and where do I want to be? From within these are questions asked by many a young adult. Questions they sometimes are too shy to ask out loud. They feel that these and similar questions might create the impression that they are immature compared to their friends who know exactly where they are going and where they want to end up.
Not getting what we want from life eventually leaves us empty inside. The hustle and bustle of the normal day keeps us so occupied that we don’t really recognize that something is missing. We work a full day and party with our friends the night through celebrating the passing of yet another day. Too busy to realize that the experience we are encountering at this instant is only momentarily and that we need to prepare for something more enduring.
It is when we become serene, all by ourselves, that our thoughts wonder to what is and how we want things to be. It is then when we notice that we are not where we want to be and that we have not done all we can to have what we want.
When we are young certain things are expected from us. That’s just how life and everything about life is. Our parents expect us to live a life that meets their standards. To get a well-paying job and a partner who falls within that same category. Just wanting what’s best for us they sometimes limit us and prevent us from living the life we were born to live. Not because they plan too, it is just a matter of them not having all the info at hand. Our friends want us to be the same as they are and to do the things they do, watch the same movies, got to the same restaurants and some even want us to have kids when they do. Not talking about our employers who want us to do things the way all other employees are doing them. Depending on what you set out to do this might not always be a bad thing, but where does that leave your individuality?
Everyone is unique and shouldn’t be placed in a pigeonhole, irrespective of how others try, unless we allowed them to. If you allow them, you’ll end up just like them…. stereotyped, unaspiring with nothing to look forward to.
Are you unsure of what you want out of life? Have you not yet found your calling, or the road you are supposed to take? Do you feel trapped in the “not so true” you and need guidance as to what to do?
Maybe you know what to do and are just uncertain of how to proceed or how to get started. Maybe you have started and life constantly gets in the way are leaving you procrastinating.
Life Coaching might just be your solution.
Determining your values and beliefs, and altering the latter, if need be, and then aligning these to complement your desired outcome you have a better chance of achieving your goals…. Your desires.
Coaching can assist in regaining your confidence and awakening the excitement of taking responsibility and accountability for your life and the actions you take to live the life of your dreams.
